Ballet Apetrei, St. Tammany’s resident ballet company, will present the final performance of its 2014-15 season at 7 p.m. Saturday at Mandeville High School, 1 Skipper Drive. The event will feature selections choreographed by guest artists who taught during the company’s six-week intensive summer workshop.

Tickets to the performance are $20 and are on sale at Pineapple Gallery, 829 Asbury Drive, Mandeville, or at the door.

During the 2014-15 season, Ballet Apetrei dancers Alainah Grace Reidy and Sofia Downing both competed in the Valentina Koslova Ballet Competition in New Orleans. Reidy performed “Cupid” from the ballet “Don Quixote,” and Downing danced as the Lilac Fairy from “Sleeping Beauty.”

The company also participated in Regional Dance America’s Southwest Region Festival, held in Monroe in March. During the event, dancers Georgia Krieger and Lydia Rewerts earned scholarships to the National Choreography Intensive Camp to be held this month in Tallahassee, Florida.
