A 60-year-old man died shortly after crashing into a building in Slidell Friday afternoon, Slidell Police said.
Witnesses said Glynn Cousin, 60, seemed to have lost control of his vehicle before it crashed into a furniture consignment shop building at 126 Fremaux Avenue after 4:30 p.m. Friday. As he drove west, witnesses said, Cousin seemed to be in distress. His vehicle appeared to veer to the right.
Cousin was unresponsive when police arrived and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Investigators believe Cousin may have passed away before the crash as a result of a medical issue.
No one was reported injured at the crash.
More to come.
