Two Slidell men have been indicted on aggravated rape charges in separate cases involving children.
John Colvert Braxton, 35, and Charles Michael Morgan, 56, were indicted Wednesday.
Braxton, who also was charged with aggravated crime against nature, is accused of raping a child beginning in 2013 when she was 10 years old, according to Lisa Page, spokeswoman for 22nd Judicial District Attorney Warren Montgomery.
The victim told her mother that Braxton woke her in the middle of the night on many occasions, taking her to the living room and raping her while others in the home were sleeping.
Morgan is accused of raping a boy from the time he was 4 or 5 years old until he was 7. The child told his mother that Morgan touched him inappropriately, showed him pornography and raped him, Page said.
