Two people have been arrested after five people were robbed at gunpoint in the French Quarter, according to New Orleans police.
Lorenzo Jackson, 19, and Shawn Brumfield, 22, were arrested shortly after the incident, which occurred about 12:21 a.m. in the 900 block of Ursulines Street.
The victims — three men and two women ranging from 18 to 22 years old — told police that two men demanded they empty their pockets and put their possessions on the ground. All five victims complied.
