A 30-year-old man said he was near Lakeview Tuesday afternoon when an acquaintance shot him, according to an NOPD report. 

The shooting occurred about 5:06 p.m. near the intersection of Clayton Avenue and Memphis Street. The man was shot multiple times and was transported to an area hospital for treatment; his condition was not immediately available. 

Below are additional incidents reported to the NOPD between Thursday and Friday morning: 

A 29-year-old man said he was walking in the CBD when two men with knives approached and robbed him. The incident occurred about 4:25 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of Canal Street, according to a report made to New Orleans Police. The man said he complied and handed one of the men his cell phone before they fled on foot. 

An 18-year-old man was found by his friend in the St. Claude area suffering from a gunshot wound, according to an NOPD report. The man was found about 12:15 a.m. near the intersection of Desire and N. Derbigny streets.
