One man died and two others were injured in three separate shootings in New Orleans between Monday night and early Tuesday morning, police said.
Around 9:25 p.m. Monday, officers responded to a shooting in the 1700 block of Franklin Avenue in the St. Roch neighborhood. A man was found at the scene suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, the New Orleans Police Department said in a news release.
He was treated by EMS and then transported to an area hospital, where he later died.

Overnight, police reported two other non-fatal shootings. The first was reported around 1:25 a.m. in the 2400 block of Bienville Avenue. One man was shot in the thigh, police said.
The second shooting was reported around 4:15 a.m. near the intersection of Gentilly Boulevard and Belfort Avenue. One man suffered a gunshot wound, police said.
Both men were transported to area hospitals. Their conditions were not immediately known.
