A 20-year-old man was arrested after allegedly robbing two victims at gunpoint on Dumaine Street Sunday, police say.
Jaeson Krauss was arrested on two counts of armed robbery Tuesday afternoon, according to NOPD spokeswoman Ambria Washington.
Surveillance video obtained by WWL-TV shows Krauss allegedly approach a couple walking in the French Quarter. The person, with a hood pulled over his head, points a gun at the pair and demands the man's wallet.
The male robbery victim asks "are you serious?" The man holding the gun then replies: "Yes."

Sunday evening, police say, Krauss allegedly approached a 51-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman from behind, pointed his weapon at them and demanded their property.
The suspect, police said, reportedly made off with cash, a watch and a camera.
WWL-TV showed the video to people in the French Quarter, who reacted with shock and were disturbed by the brazen robbery.
"I mean it was gut-wrenching," said a man identified as Quentin Alexander. "I didn't know what was going to happen and I can only imagine how they felt with a gun pointed to their heads."
