A 28-year-old man was stabbed with a steak knife on Friday in the 2400 block of Annette Street after he tried to start a conversation with woman he didn’t know.

He told police that the women pulled a steak knife from her purse and stabbed him, then ran off. Someone he knew took him to the hospital to be treated.

Below are additional reports made to the NOPD between Friday and Saturday morning: 

A 26-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint by two men as he walked down St. Louis Street near Bourbon Street on Friday at around 5 p.m. The man told police that the first man showed him a gun and warned, “Don’t try anything” while the second man went into his pocket and took his wallet and cash.

A 42-year-old woman was walking down Bourbon Street near St. Louis Street at around 9 p.m. Friday when a man ran up behind her, snatched her purse from her shoulder, and kept running.
