Most of Orleans Parish school students will be back in the classroom Monday.

The Orleans Parish School Board and Recovery School District advised schools to resume normal schedules Monday after being closed four days last week due to icy conditions and water issues.

The Joseph A. Craig Charter School and the New Orleans Therapeutic Day Program: Bywater Campus, however, will remain closed due to continued water pressure issues. The OPSB said other schools are still experiencing similar issues, and other school closures could be announced Sunday evening and early Monday morning.

Families are encouraged to monitor the OPSB social media accounts on Facebook  and Twitter for further updates.
