Jesuit High School has named Rev. Christopher Scott Fronk, S.J., as the Mid-City high school's next president.

Fronk, 50, will succeed interim president Rev. Anthony McGinn, S.J. who took over duties when Rev. Raymond Fitzgerald, S.J., was diagnosed with ALS, or Lou Gehrig's Disease and stepped down to focus on his health, according to an article on WWL-TV.

Fronk is currently serving as a command chaplain in the Navy with the rank of commander. He is assigned as command chaplain aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. George H.W. Bush. Prior to that he served at the U.S. Coast Guard Basic Training Center at Cape May, New Jersey.
