Voters in St. Bernard Parish on Saturday voted in favor of renewing a set of property taxes for local public schools. 

Three different taxes were up for approval, each for another 10 years. 

Two of them, a 19.39-mill tax and 9.44-mill, go to employee benefits and salaries. Another 3.06 mills goes to school buses and instructional materials.  

They passed with a vote of 64 percent, 63 percent and 62 percent respectively.
