PRIDE — Scotlandville High continued a series of prolific offensive performances by notching a 48-8 victory over Northeast High on Friday night at NHS.

Quarterback Kamani Smith completed 8 of 11 passes for 145 yards and three TDs for the Class 5A Hornets (4-0).

Larry Clark finished with four catches for 83 yards and one TD. Kajandre Domino had two TD catches, while Dontrail Hilliard ran for 70 yards on eight carries.

Demicheal Robinson grabbed two interceptions to pace the Scotlandville defense.

Ronnie Davis scored the lone touchdown for Class 2A Northeast on a 2-yard run.

EAST ST. JOHN 28, PARKVIEW BAPTIST 16: In Reserve, Darion Monroe had a starring role on defense and offense for Class 5A East St. John (2-2).

Monroe completed 10 of 21 passes for 261 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran for a team-high 60 yards and scored on a 9-yard run.

For good measure, Monroe garnered two key turnovers in the red zone, thwarting scoring opportunities for Parkview with an interception and a fumble recovery.

Fullback Connor Hodgeson ran for 117 yards on 18 carries to pace Parkview (1-3). Brody Burkhalter (10-yard run) and Hezekiah Randolph (8-yard run) scored touchdowns for Parkview.

NORTHSIDE 39, WOODLAWN 28: In Lafayette, Woodlawn (2-2) saw its 28-7 halftime lead evaporate as Northside (2-2) scored 22 second-half points.

The Vikings ran for 304 yards and were led by Kevin Johnson with 12 carries for 91 yards and a TD. Carenski Andrus added 39 yards on seven carries with two TDs.

Kendall Barnes and Jamaal Lofton led Woodlawn. Barnes completed 12 of 30 passes for 195 and three TDs, including TD strikes of 61 and 6 yards for Lofton, who also had seven catches for 130 yards, along with a 77-yard interception for a TD.

EAST IBERVILLE 44, ST. HELENA CENTRAL 42 2 OT: In St. Gabriel, Richard Johnson scored on an 8-yard run in the second overtime and Nicholas Brooks ran for the two-point conversion to keep Class 1A East Iberville (4-0) unbeaten.

Brooks finished with 149 yards on 26 carries and scored one TD. Lennet Little added 94 yards on 15 carries as the Tigers rolled up 281 rushing yards. Johnson had two rushing TDs and also tossed TD passes of 35 yards to Brooks and 40 yards to Lamont Kerr.

CATHOLIC-PC 38, OPELOUSAS CATHOLIC 35: In Opelousas, Catholic-PC (1-3, 1-0 in District 6-1A) got its first victory by rallying from a two-touchdown deficit in the final three minutes.

Connor Meche started the scoring surge with an 85-yard kickoff return for a TD. Thomas Camper caught a 6-yard TD pass from Cole Langdon. Forrest Cazayoux scored the winning TD on a 2-yard run.

Cazayoux finished with 106 yards on 23 carries to lead the Hornets. Adam Jarreau (14 of 20) and Langdon (3 of 4) combined to completed 17 of 24 passes for 169 yards. Dillon Foster led the CHSPC receivers with seven catches for 104 yards.

Zach Hebert ran for 67 yards and scored two TDs for OCHS (1-3).

BREAUX BRIDGE 42, HAMMOND 0: In Hammond, Lane Landry completed 7 of 10 passes for 80 yards and four TDs to pace Class 4A No. 2 BBHS (4-0).

LSU commitment Travin Dural ran for 20 yards on three carries and also had five catches for 44 yards for Breaux Bridge.

Another LSU commitment, Kavahra Holmes, caught a 19-yard TD pass, while Adrian Menard ran for 48 yards on seven carries with one TD. Rennel Wilson led Hammond (1-3) with 80 yards on 21 carries.

NORTHLAKE CHRISTIAN 28, CENTRAL CATHOLIC 27: In Covington, Mallery Mele ran for 225 on 26 carries, and made the game-winning extra-point to boost 2A Northlake (1-3) past third-ranked Central Catholic-Morgan City (3-1), of Class 1A.

Mele also ran for a TD and caught a TD pass for NLHS. Lloyd Grogan had 99 yards on 11 carries to pace CCMC.

ST. MARTINVILLE 32, BEAU CHENE 15: In Prairie Basse, Jude St. Julien rushed for 124 yards on 19 carries and scored two TDs to lead St. Martinville (3-1).

C.J. Chaisson added 93 yards on 12 carries and also scored two TDs for the Tigers. Jamal Chevis led Beau Chene (1-3) with 71 yards on 14 carries.

CATHOLIC-NI 29, CHURCH POINT 13: In New Iberia, Joe Lissard completed 20 of 37 passes for 232 yards and three touchdowns to pace Catholic-New Iberia (3-1).

Blake Byrom had five catches for 97 yards and two TDs, while D’Shawn Etienne had four catches for 58 yards for the winners.
