My Selections

Race 1

4. Amazing Averiator: Choice in last probably wants to route — gets chance.

8. Calebs Comet: Trainer Robertson has both choices in here.

Race 2

1. La Bruna Forte: Been trying to get this one on turf and today is the day.

7. Chardonnay Sherry: Only try on turf was very solid and competitive.

Race 3

1. Bad Asset: Might not have liked the sloppy track last out — another shot.

6. Run Freely: Big race last out and new barn today.

Race 4

2. On the Same Page: Good effort on turf last out beats these today.

8. Sapphire Breeze: Shipper from Sam Houston is a pure turfer.

Race 5

1. Rays Lil Cat: Blinkers helped in last and will be a price from rail.

3. Expect Elprada: Back to sprinting and always near the wire at the end.

Race 6

2. Thunder Bonnet: Trainer Johnston having a superb meet with these types.

3. Warrior Elite: Takes the kind of drop down that can win this type race.

Race 7

2. Geneva Lake: Looks to have found a field to her liking.

3. Something Blue: Good win two back would make this one competitive.

Race 8

4. Marv in Lafite: Really thing this one might turn out to be really good.

6. Nubin Ridge: Always runs a good race and in the thick of it.

Race 9

4. John Louis South: Nice debut just a modicum of improvement needed to win .

2. Shermans Cookie: A bit of a layoff and had a bit of trouble in last.

Back on the turf it seems for a few days and that is better than the sloppy tracks we have seen recently. The jockey standings stayed about the same as both Rosie Napravnick and James Graham had really good weeks winning 10 and 9 races, respectively. Rosie now leads Graham by a 98-91 margin going into Thursday’s racing.

In Race 8 let’s make a late Daily Double using the 4-6 with the 2-4 and make an extra Daily Double 4-4. Good Luck.
