LPGA-USGA Girls Golf is partnering with BREC to form a program for girls in grades 1-12.
LPGA teaching professional Eva Ancona Chaffin will start the program by hosting a series of five fall clinics beginning Aug. 28.
Girls in grades 1-5 will have their clinic from 2:30-4 p.m., followed by a 4:30-6 p.m. time slot for girls in grades 6-12.
Clinics will be held at Clark Park and Santa Maria Golf Course. Practice/play dates are set for Oct. 9 and Oct. 23 at Clark Park.
Membership will be $125. There will be a separate $10 charge for open play and tournament play. Clubs will be available for girls who do not have their own clubs.
Registration for LPGA-USGA program begins on noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at BREC?s Webb Park course and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the City Park course.
Additional registration dates are noon- 2 p.m. Aug. 13 at Santa Maria and 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Clark.
