MARSHALL 2, TULANE 1: In Charleston, W.Va., inclement weather that forced the suspension of Game 2 in the top of the eighth inning for Tulane on Saturday continued Sunday, making the game final while also causing the cancelation of Game 3.

Tulane (13-13, 5-6 Conference USA) and Marshall (8-16, 5-6) were knotted through the bottom of the seventh Saturday before Marshall scored the go-ahead run and the tarps were pulled.

The Green Wave visit UL-Lafayette at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

NICHOLLS STATE 2, ORAL ROBERTS 1: In Thibodaux, Nicholls State defeated Oral Roberts in walk-off fashion to take the series 2-1 and remain in sole possession of the top spot in the Southland.

In the ninth with two outs, Nicholls State’s Tyler Duplantis singled to center, followed by a David Zorn walk. Christian Correa then hit a single to left, scoring Duplantis as the Colonels (15-14, 7-2) stormed the field.

HOUSTON BAPTIST 7, SOUTHEASTERN 1: Houston Baptist right-hander Curtis Jones tossed a complete game as the visiting Huskies claimed the series.

The Huskies (14-10, 5-4 Southland) chased Southeastern’s Kyle Keller with four two-out runs in the fourth. The Huskies tacked on a pair in the seventh for a 6-0 lead.

Southeastern fell to 16-11 overall and 5-4 in league play.

DELGADO 10, BRCC 8: Delgado broke through for five runs in the third inning to prevail at Baton Rouge Community College’s Pete Goldsby Field and avoid a sweep.

BRCC swept Saturday’s doubleheader but couldn’t complete the sweep despite using nine pitchers.

LSU-Eunice 7, Tyler JC 3: In Tyler, Texas, LSU-Eunice pieced together 14 hits to claim a series victory on the road.

Chad Reeves posted his eighth win by allowing two runs in seven innings.
