Jeremy Boyer and Geordie Wudrick scored in a shootout to lift the Louisiana IceGators to a 4-3 victory over the Mississippi RiverKings on Saturday night in Southaven, Mississippi.

Mississippi came up empty on its four shootout tries against Louisiana goalie Brad Barone. The RiverKings had forced overtime with a goal from Ryan Marcuz with less than five minutes left.

Jake Hauswirth (twice) and Wudrick scored in regulation for Louisiana; two of those goals were shorthanded. Alex Hudson added two assists.

Charles Mosey and Linden Bahm scored power-play goals for Mississippi.

Louisiana next visits Huntsville at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
