The Advocate’s Sports staff continued to garner some of the highest awards in the newspaper industry Tuesday.

The Advocate earned an Associated Press Sports Editors Top 10 for its Sunday Sections among newspapers with a circulation between 75,000 and 175,000.

In the previous few days, The Advocate placed as an APSE Top 10 for Daily Sections and for both The Advocate’s sports website and The New Orleans Advocate’s sports website.

Also in the Top 10 are the Buffalo News, the Des Moines Register, the Florida Times-Union (Jacksonville), the Indianapolis Star, The Oklahoman, the Omaha World-Herald, The Salt Lake Tribune, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and the Tulsa World.

The last time The Advocate was recognized for its Sunday Sections was in 2004, competing against newspapers with circulations between 40,000 and 100,000.
