MONROE — The Louisiana-Monroe football team opens the season on Thursday hosting Wake Forest in a nationally televised game on ESPNU at 6:02 p.m.

ULM grabbed a 21-19 win at Wake Forest last season.

ULM begins the season with three of its first four games at home as the Warhawks host Wake Forest in the opener followed by Sun Belt Conference games against Idaho (Sept. 6) and Troy (Sept. 27).

The only road game for the Warhawks before the month of October is a non conference tilt at LSU on Sept. 13.

Before this season, the Warhawks have had just two seasons since moving up to the FBS ranks in 1994 when three of their first four were at home (1996 and 2001).
