RUSTON - ESPN, in conjunction with the Southeastern Conference, announced Monday that Louisiana Tech’s Sept. 24 game at Mississippi State will be televised nationally on ESPNU.

Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m. at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville, Miss.

Mississippi State has a 7-3 advantage in the series, but Louisiana Tech defeated State 22-14 in the team’s last meeting in 2008. Louisiana Tech has won two straight in the series.


GREEN WAVE-DUKE GAME TIME SET: The game time for Tulane’s football game against the Duke Blue Devils on Saturday, Sept. 24, has been set for 2:30 p.m. The contest will be carried live either on ESPNU or ESPN3. The network selection for the game will be announced by 11 a.m. Sunday.

The Green Wave is 1-1, 0-1 Confernce-USA. Duke is 0-2, 0-0 Atlantic Coast Conference. It will be the third meeting between the schoools, and Tulane will make its first appearance in Durham, N.C., since 1973 when then-18th-ranked Tulane beat Duke 24-17.


ULM-IOWA GAME TO BE SHOWN ON BIG 10 NETWORK: The Big 10 Network will broadcast the University of Louisiana at Monroe’s game at Iowa on Sept. 24.

Kickoff is schedule for 11 a.m. from Kinnick Stadium.
