The streak has ended.
Franklinton High School offensive lineman Adrian Magee committed to the LSU football team Sunday, the Tigers’ first commit for the 2015 season in more than two months.
Geaux247 reported the news of Magee’s non-binding, verbal pledge.
The three-star, 6-foot-5, 325-pounder is LSU’s 10th commit of the 2015 class and the first since the Tigers got a pair of commitments Feb. 19.
Magee is ranked the No. 50 offensive tackle in the nation and the 28th-best player in the state — according to 24/7 Sports composite rankings, which combine rankings from the major recruiting sites. He had offers from Louisiana Tech and Oklahoma State.
The Tigers are focusing on offensive linemen in this class. New offensive line coach Jeff Grimes and recruiting coordinator Frank Wilson recruited Magee.
