BRYANT MBAMALU, UL-Lafayette: The senior from Houston became the 42nd player in school history to reach the 1,000-point mark in his final home game, a 102-74 victory Sunday over South Alabama. Mbamalu was also the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week.

LEDRICK EACKLES, McNeese State: The senior from Zachary hit career highs in points twice last week and became the first player in the conference this season to score 30 or more points in back-to-back games. He had 31 points against Incarnate Word and 35 against Abilene Christian.

CECILIA OKOYE, McNeese State: The senior from Mansfield, Texas, averaged 18.5 points and 11.5 rebounds in wins over Incarnate Word and Abilene Christian. Okoye was also the Southland Conference Player of the Week.

ASHLEIGH SIMMONS, UL-Monroe: The senior forward from Hawkins, Texas, became the 17th player in program history to go over the 1,000-point mark for a career this past week.
