In Jacksonville, Fla., Rendrick Taylor rushed for four touchdowns as the Jacksonville Sharks manhandled the New Orleans VooDoo 76-30 on Friday night.
Taylor, a fullback, rushed for just 17 yards but still found the end zone four times. R.J. Archer and Bernard Morris each added two passing touchdowns for Jacksonville (4-0). Jeff Hughley (twice), Markee White and Dusty Bear contributed receiving touchdowns for Jacksonville, which raced to a 55-12 lead at halftime.
Quarterback Kurt Rocco had three touchdown passes but also threw a pair of interceptions while going 13 of 28 for 172 yards for the VooDoo (1-2). Zack Eskridge added two TDs and a pick on 6-of-9 passing for 71 yards. Donovan Morgan had three TD receptions; Courtney Smith and Derek Lee had the other two.
New Orleans hosts the Pittsburgh Power at 7:30 p.m. April 19.
