AUGUSTA, Ga. – Patrick Reed finds himself in a pretty fiery trio in the first two rounds of the Masters.
The former University High golfer tees off at 8:02 a.m. CDT Thursday with 2011 PGA champion Keegan Bradley and European Ryder Cup stalwart Ian Poulter.
The threesome will tee off at 11:20 a.m. Friday.
Defending and two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson, with long-time caddy Ted Scott of Lafayette on his bag, tees off two groups later at 8:24 a.m. with 2013 U.S. Open champion Justin Rose and 2014 U.S. Amateur champion Gunn Yang. They will play at 11:24 p.m. Friday.
Other notables: four-time champion Tiger Woods, playing in his first Masters since 2013, tees off at 12:48 p.m. and 9:30 a.m.; defending Zurich Classic of New Orleans champion Seung-Yul Noh tees off at 10:36 a.m. and 7:18 a.m.; and world No. 1 Rory McIlroy tees off at 10:41 a.m. and 12:48 p.m. with three-time champ Phil Mickelson.
After Friday's second round, the field of 98 players will be cut to the low 50 and ties and anyone within 10 strokes of the lead.
