The Baton Rouge Capitals look to snap a two-game losing streak when they host the West Texas United Shockers in Premier Development League soccer action on Sunday.

The Capitals (6-7-1) have had eight days off since losing 4-1 to the Mississippi Brilla on the road. Game time is set for 7 p.m. at Christian Life Academy.

The Capitals are in fourth place in the PDL’s Mid-South Division with 19 points. West Texas (5-9) is in fifth place with 15 points.

The Sunday contest will be the second game in three days for the Shockers, who beat to the New Orleans Jesters 2-1 on Friday night.

Achille Campeon provided the lone goal for the Capitals in their loss to Brilla.

Sunday’s game helps close out the regular season for the Capitals, who end the season with a home game against New Orleans on July 23.
