But since winning at Doral in March he’s gone T52 at the Arnold Palmer, missed the cut at the Masters (his first major) and T48 at the RBC Heritage. Missed the cut in the 2013 Zurich.

Off the tee: Fowler goes off second favorite in the Zurich behind Justin Rose, but a second career win here would be a huge fan favorite, espeically with the younger, Rickie gear-wearing set. Hot or cold this season, he’s got four MCs and three top-six finishes, including 6th at Houston and T5 at the Masters. T10 in 2012 Zurich.

Off the tee: The defending Zurich Classic champion, Horschel has had a solid if unspectacular 2013-14 season. His only top-10 was a T6 in the Tournament of Champions, but he has nine top 25 finsihes since his breakthrough win. T4 behind Justin Rose in last year’s U.S. Open and was T37 two weeks ago in the Masters.

Off the tee: A Zurich Classic regular, Rose hasn’t won anywhere since capturing the U.S. Open in June at Merion. Still, he has the highest world ranking of any player here, and a T8 in Tampa and a T14 in the Masters indicate he may be nearing last summer’s major-winning form. T15 in the 2013 Zurich Classic

Off the tee: Sean Payton’s favorite pro golfer (they played in Wednesday’s Pro-Am) has quietly been having a strong season with two seconds (at Humana to Reed, at Honda), a T7 last time out at Houston. and a T8 in Hawaii. He’s third on the PGA Tour in all-around rankings and fourth in birdie average. T4 in 2011 Zurich.
