NEW ORLEANS — Former Southeastern Louisiana University pitcher and Loranger native Wade Miley, a member in the Arizona Diamondbacks’ organization, is scheduled to start Saturday for the Triple-A affiliate Reno Aces against the New Orleans Zephyrs at Zephyr Field.

First pitch is scheduled at 6 p.m.

Miley, who played for Southeastern from 2006-08, is 3-1 on the mound with a 4.17 earned run average in seven appearances for the Aces, which lead the Pacific Coast League’s Pacific North Division with a 66-52 record.

Miley, who went 4-2 for Mobile in 14 appearances this season, debuted with the first-place Aces on July 4 and earned a win over Tucson. The southpaw added wins in his next two appearances — at Tacoma and against Fresno — and has struck out 47 batters in 45.1 innings.
