Former LSU quarterback Ryan Perrilloux has signed with the New Orleans VooDoo, marking his return to the sport.

Perrilloux was once the highest-touted recruit of Tigers coach Les Miles and the hero of the Tigers' 2007 SEC Championship game, leading to the BCS National Championship game - he stepped in for an injured Matt Flynn - before being dismissed by Miles in May 2008.

He played at East St. John High School where he became a five-star recruit.

The VooDoo ended the 2013 season with a 5-13 mark, which included an eight-game losing streak. The team also played a number of quarterbacks, including Kurt Rocco (2,319 yards, 49 touchdowns), who returns this spring
