3, Dutchtown (7-2): Huge win over Catholic vaults 5-5A Griffins near the top.
4, Plaquemine (6-3) and Livonia (7-2): PHS beat Livonia by six points, making it hard to separate these two 6-4A teams.
6, Catholic (6-3): The 5-5A Bears got a big wake-up call. What they do now is pivotal.
7, St. Amant (7-2): Nice rebound win for 5-5A Gators; showdown with Dutchtown looms.
8, Woodlawn (5-4): The 6-4A Panthers could be one surprise teams in 4A.
9, Live Oak (5-4), Central (5-4), Denham Springs (5-4): There have been ups and downs for these 4-5A teams who still have much to prove.

Classes 3A and below
1, Universty (8-1): The upset scare the 6-3A Cubs got from Brusly may be a plus.
2, Parkview Baptist (6-3): Don’t let those three losses fool you, the 6-3A Eagles can soar.
3, Madison Prep (9-0): The Chargers of 6-2A can be the area’s lone unbeaten. Enough said.
4, Lutcher (8-1): The No. 3 Bulldogs won again and face No. 2 De La Salle in 9-3A.
5, Southern Lab (6-2): The No. 4 Kittens face No. 3 Kentwood in 6-1A showdown.
6, Episcopal (7-2): The 6-2A Knights lost to Madison Prep, but proved their mettle last week.
7, West Feliciana (5-4): The 6-3A Saints lost to Parkview but remain dangerous.
8, Northeast (6-3): Nice two-game winning streak sets up rival game with East Feliciana.
9, Dunham (7-2): The 6-2A Tigers bounced back from loss to MPA with win over Christian Life
10, White Castle (5-4): Another talented 6-1A team that has played a tough schedule.
