Aleah Williams is a 5-foot-8 senior volleyball player at Woodlawn.

How do you think your team did at the McKinley Jamboree? “I thought we played well, but we could have done better. You can always improve. It’s definitely a good start.”

What did you work on this summer? “Being more consistent as a hitter.”

What is your team’s goal for the season? “Winning with my team and getting back to the playoffs again.”

What is your goal this season? “To make first-team all-district.”

If you weren’t playing volleyball, what would you do? “I’d just be a student. I can’t imagine playing any other sport.”

Your brother, Brian Williams, played basketball at Glen Oaks, at Oklahoma State and is now at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. What’s the best advice he gave you? “No matter what happens, always do your best.”
