Two high school baseball playoff games slated for late Tuesday afternoon have been moved up to 2:30 p.m. because of the threat of bad weather.
The playoff baseball game between Catholic High and Barbe that started Monday and was postponed by rain will resume at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, said Catholic High Athletic Director J.P. Kelly.
The game, in which Barbe is leading 3-1 with one out in the top of the third inning, was originally set to resume at 4 p.m. The start time for the resumption of the game was moved up to 2:30 p.m. because of the threat of bad weather later in the afternoon on Tuesday, Kelly said.
Monday’s game of Loranger at Parkview Baptist will also resume Tuesday at 2:30 p.m., said Parkview Baptist Head Coach Darron Mitchell.
