FRANKLIN — Tyler Brown led Donaldsonville to its second consecutive District 9-3A shutout, a 26-0 victory over Franklin on Friday night.

Brown completed 9-of-14 passes for 146 yards and one touchdown to Stephen Sullivan.

Sullivan caught four passes for 60 yards and Tahj Gillard added 77 rushing yards on nine attempts.

Koby Bozeman and Cardell Forcell added TDs for the Tigers (5-4, 2-2).

Franklin fell to 0-9, 0-3.

ST. JAMES 47, CARVER 14: Lowell Narcisse’s 280 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns led St. James to a District 8-2A win.

The Wildcats (5-4, 4-2) held a 35-6 advantage going into halftime and held their third straight opponent to 14 points or less.

Narcisse connected with Dontaze Costly for a 9-yard TD as time expired in the first half. Camrin Grows rushed 9 yards for a TD in the third quarter.

Carver fell to 4-5, 3-3.

SOUTHERN LAB 40, VARNADO 6: Southern Lab remained undefeated in District 6-1A.

The Kittens (4-5, 3-0) got their third consecutive win led by Bladrick Veal, who completed 13 of 17 passes for 245 yards and three touchdowns.

Tevis Abraham caught four passes for 107 yards and two TDs while Darbbeon Profit added 145 yards on 13 rushes for one score.

Joe McWilliams blocked a punt and Malcolm Hall returned a fumble 15 yards for a score.

Varnado is 4-5, 1-2.
