Charles Jackson, Jesuit

The senior running back rushed 16 times for 142 yards to help lead Jesuit to a 17-14 victory over John Curtis in the Division I championship. Jackson was named the game’s Most Outstanding Player after helping lead the Blue Jays to their first state title since 1960. Jackson finished the season with 1,137 yards and 11 touchdowns on 153 carries.

“Our backs run as hard as anybody that I have ever been around,” Jesuit coach Mark Songy said.
