Lakeview is headed back to the Class 2A state championship game for the second year in a row.

Lakeview scored the game’s first 20 points and never looked back, beating Episcopal 73-54 in the Class 2A semifinals.

The Gators will play the winner of Thursday’s Riverside-North Caddo game.

Lakeview lost to Riverside 88-75 in last year’s title game.

Tivonte Hardy scored 29 points and Brenton Toussaint had 15 for the Gators (26-5).

Hardy did most of his damge from outside, going 6 of 10 on 3-pointers.

Episcopal didn’t score its first points until Evan Lawson scored with 1:24 remaining in the first quarter.

Chris Beckman Jr., led Episcopal with 17 points and Spencer Kleinpeter had 15.

The Knights finished its season 31-4.
