Nebraska commitment Kendall Bussey leads the Greenies offense with 535 yards on 51 carries with 14 TDs. Jack Miller (42 tackles) anchors an overlooked defense. Rams QB Quinton Matthews has thrown for 719 yards, and RB Rodney Major has rushed for 204 yards.
Riverdale (3-1) vs. Higgins (0-4)

Darius Bovie (585 yards rushing) and speedster Donte Jackson (480 yards rushing) give the Rebels a strong 1-2 punch. They have scored six rushing TDs each (Jackson also has 3 TD receptions). Hurricanes seeking first victory under Craig Laborde.
St. Paul’s (3-1) at Hammond (1-3)
Last week: Beat Slidell 26-16; Hammond lost to Fontainebleau 35-20.

District 6-5A. Wolves QB Ryan O’Krepki rushed for 92 yards and threw for 91 yards last week to hand Slidell its first loss. Tors looking to bounce back after dropping opener.
Fontainebleau (3-1) at Mandeville (1-3)
Last week: Fontainebleau beat Hammond 35-20; Mandeville lost to Ponchatoula 28-19

Bulldogs recovered from loss to Ehret to win distroict opener. Matt Scanlon leads Skippers’ defense with 55 tackles (7 tackles for loss), while Cody Nye has rushed for 300 yards.
Northshore (2-2) at Ponchatoula (4-0)
Last week: Lost to Covington 45-7; Ponchatoula beat Mandeville 28-19
Last year: Ponchatoula won 36-23
Ponchatoula, ranked No. 4 in the LSWA 5A poll, appears to be the district favorites. Wave led by QB Christian Campbell, a Georgia Tech commitment. Panthers looking for a district win after going 0-7 in 6-5A last season.
Slidell (3-1) at Covington (2-2)
Last week: Slidell lost to St. Paul’s 24-16; Covington beat Northshore 45-7
Last year: Covington won 31-21
District 6-5A game. Kain Mitchell rushed for 103 yards on 17 carries last week, pushing his season total to 528 yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep Tigers from suffering first loss. RB Devin Brumfield and QB Tyler Smith lead Covington offense.
Ridgewood (0-3) vs. Haynes (2-2)

Ridgewood’s best outing of the season was a 39-21 loss to Ascension Christian in Week 2. Ridgewood junior QB Xavier Soto completed 8 of 19 pass attempts for 71 yards last week. Yellow Jackets have dropped two straight after 2-0 start.
Country Day (3-1) vs. Crescent City (0-3)

Last week: Country Day beat Ridgewood 49-6; Crescent City lost to St. Martin’s 40-6

Cajuns have allowed just 29 points this season, best in the area and gave up just three first downs last week.
