Luke out at VCHS

School officials and Luke have declined comment. Luke coached 28 years at VCHS and won more than 600 games. Her Terriers were removed from the Louisiana High School Athletic Association’s playoffs after a quarterfinal win because of an ineligible player.

The team Vandebilt defeated, Salmen High, went on to win the Class 4A state title earlier this month in Monroe after a series of court challenges marred the playoffs.

Luke was honored last weekend as the LHSBCA Hall of Fame recipient.
