Natchitoches, La. - Sacred Heart had a girls cross country double at the Louisiana High School Athletic Association state cross country meet on Tuesday.

The Cardinals' Catherine Belle Paulk won the race in 19 minutes, 25.07 seconds. The school also won the team title with 35 points ahead of John Curtis (95) and McGehee (98).

It was the seventh title in the past eight years for Sacred Heart.

Dominican's Mia Meydrich won the Class 5A girls title in 18:06, the top time run thus far.

Devyn Keith of John Curtis won the Class 3A boys championship in 16:08.58 ahead of University runners Hank Patrick (16:21.93) and Logan Firnberg (16:33.95).

St. Paul's Eric Coston and Zachary Albright finished first and second, respectively, in the Class 5A.
