Wyatt Martin was 3-for-4, including a fourth-inning grand slam to lead third-seeded Oak Grove past No. 19 Redemptorist 11-6 in a second-round Class 2A baseball playoff game Wednesday night.
The game, played at Emerald Park, was the last home sports event hosted by Redemptorist, which is set to close later this month after 67 years. The Wolves (15-15) got a two-run home run from Caleb Nunez but committed five costly errors in the first three innings.
Oak Grove (19-7) advances to play Northlake Christian, a 5-4 winner over Dunham, in the quarterfinal round.
