DENHAM SPRINGS - St. Michael had two double winners, while Denham Springs had a double winner and took two relays to win the girls and boys divisions, respectively, of a quad swim meet Sunday at the PARDS Aquatics Center at North Park.

Camille Savoie won the 50 free (27.98 seconds) and 100 backstroke (1:15.28), while Stevie Breaux won the 100 freestyle (1:10.89) and 100 breaststroke (1:21.35) to help St. Michael score 136 points in the girls division to finish ahead of Denham Springs with 72.

In the boys division, Drew Snead won the 50 free (25.31) and 100 free (57.64), while the Yellow Jackets won the medley and 200 freestyle relays to score 113 points, ahead of Walker, with 55.

Runnels also had a double winner in the girls division as Callie Tucker won the 200 IM (2:49.75) and 100 butterfly (1:20.53).

Michelle Poole, of St. Michael, also won the 200 free (2:31.19) and Paige Latimer won the 500 free (6:37.01) for Denham Springs.

Other double winners in the boys division were Walker’s Mikey Nash III in the 200 IM (2:33.25) and 500 free (6:23.14) and Runnels’ Alex Stanbury in the 100 fly (1:10.26) and 100 breast (1:17.96.)

Denham Springs also picked up wins from Tyler Mellenthin in the 200 free (2:22.84) and Jacob Braun, 100 back (1:06.66).
