Edna Karr

Perry, a senior quarterback, carried 17 times for 96 yards and four touchdowns on runs of 3, 20, 3 and 4 yards in Karr's 40-6 victory over Warren Easton. Perry also completed 9 of 16 passes for 129 yards, accounting for 225 yards of offense. Karr won the District 9-4A title and also earned the top seed in Class 4A. The Cougars will host Buckeye on Thursday at Behrman Stadium.

Jordan Jensen

St. Charles Catholic

Jensen, a senior linebacker, recorded seven tackles, had two sacks and one pass deflection to lead St. Charles to a 14-0 victory over St. James in a battle of teams ranked in The New Orleans Advocate Small School Super 10. It was the fifth shutout of the season for the Comets. St. Charles earned the No. 3 seed in the Division II playoffs and get a first-round bye.
