Manny Miles, the former U-High quarterback and the son of LSU coach Les Miles, has committed to play football at North Carolina.
It’s unclear if Miles will play baseball, too.
Manny, a two-sport athlete at U-High, had discussed the possibility of walking on at LSU for football and baseball, but he’s decided to leave Baton Rouge for a spot with the Tarheels.
Manny’s Twitter account on Friday was flooded with retweets of friends and teammates tweeting him congratulations for the decision.
Manny, a three star rated pro-style quarterback and a pitcher in baseball, was first team all-district in football and led the Cubs to the Division II selection state championship.
Manny completed 126 of 179 passes for 1,952 yards and 23 touchdowns last year.
