The top three candidates in the running to become the football coach at Southern Lab will find out who the school thinks is the one for the job on Wednesday at 11 a.m..
Former LSU quarterback Marcus Randall, currently the offensive coordinator at Scotlandville, Central defensive coordinator Ken Hilton and Episcopal defensive coordinator Jimmy Williams, are the finalists for the position.
There were erroneous Internet reports last Friday that Randall had been hired for the position, but Southern Lab Athletic Director Rebecca Marshall said that was not the case.
Randall was a big part of the "Bluegrass Miracle" play at LSU.
Hilton was Central's defensive coordinator for the past three seasons.
Williams also serves as the assistant athletic director at Episcopal.
