Dejon Harris

Ehret

Harris, a senior quarterback, rushed for 176 yards and scored three touchdowns to lead the Patriots to a 44-7 victory over then-No. 9 Chalmette. The victory caused a three-way tie in District 8-5A between Ehret, Chalmette and Landry-Walker. Harris, who has committed to Arkansas, also plays linebacker, the position he will play in college.

Jared Butler

Riverside

Butler, a sophomore, threw for 187 yards, including a 74-yard touchdown, and ran for three touchdowns to lead the Rebels to a 35-3 victory over St. Charles. Riverside was ranked No. 1 and St. Charles was ranked No. 2 in the pivotal 9-2A game. Butler, who missed the first four games of the season with an injury, is also a guard on the Rebels’ basketball team.

Volleyball

Allison Olsonoski, Ben Franklin

Olsonoski, a senior hitter, has paced the Falcons to the No. 2 spot in the large schools portion of the New Orleans Advocate’s Sweet 16 volleyball rankings this season. Ben Franklin has a 37-6 record this year. Olsonoski has verbally committed to Villanova.
