Former St. Amant baseball coach Bob Lemons and ex-Redemptorist boys basketball coach Tim Waller are among the coaches set to coach at new schools this fall.

Lemons, who coached the Gators to four state titles, is moving to Dutchtown High as an assistant coach after serving as an assistant at East Ascension the past two seasons.

The Griffins and coach Chris Schexnaydre also are adding Fran Anderman as an assistant. Anderman, previously an assistant at EAHS, has been an assistant at Louisiana Tech most recently.

Meanwhile, Waller has been hired as the boys basketball coach at Livonia. Waller and Livonia Athletic Director-football coach Guy Mistretta previously coached together at Redemptorist. Waller won two district titles with the Wolves. Waller spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach at Holy Cross.

The previous Livonia boys basketball coach, Lionel Gilbert, also remains in the area. Gilbert is the new boys basketball coach at Donaldsonville.
