McMain (3-1) vs. Clark (1-3)

LAST WEEK: McMain beat Jeanerette 55-22; Clark beat Ben Franklin 10-3

LAST YEAR: McMain won 46-0.

Mustangs’ only loss came against Newman in season opener. Bulldogs sophomore RB Mekail Harris rushed for 124 yards last week as team snapped eight-game losing streak dating to last season.

Karr (1-2) vs. Cox (0-4)

WHEN: 7 p.m., Hoss Memtsas

LAST WEEK: Karr lost to John Curtis 34-22; Cox lost to East Jefferson 30-27.

LAST YEAR: Karr won 49-18

Cougars are ranked No. 9 in The New Orleans Advocate’s Large School Super 10, with losses to No. 8 St. Paul’s and nationally ranked Curtis. QB Aldon Clark has thrown for 610 yards and 5 TDs, including three last week. LSU commit Isaiah Washington leads the defense. Cougars counter with do-it-all QB Dion Ray, a Louisiana-Lafayette commit who has thrown for 641 yards this season.

Curtis (4-0) vs. St. Augustine (2-1)

LAST WEEK: Curtis beat Karr 34-22; St. Augustine didn’t play.

LAST YEAR: St. Augustine won 29-28

Patriots have won 11 consecutive games. Their last loss was to St. Aug last season in a game that was televised nationally. Patriots ranked No. 1 in 3A, No. 1 in The Advocate’s Small School Super 10 and No. 16 nationally. Purple Knights are 10 in Large School Super 10. Curtis junior RB Devon Benn coming off career-best 269 yard outing last week. Purple Knights are led by playmaking WR Stanley Morgan (22 catches, 373 yards, 3 TDs).

Bogalusa (1-3) vs. Miller-McCoy (0-4)

WHEN: 7 p.m., Pan Am

LAST WEEK: Bogalusa lost to Franklinton 60-6; Miller-McCoy lost to St. Charles 49-6

LAST YEAR: Bogalusa won 16-14

Lumberjacks have scored just 24 points in its three losses. Miller-McCoy has dropped six straight games dating to last season. Lions have scored just 26 points in their three games (fourth loss was a forfeit).
