Scotlandville High School won its third straight Coca-Cola/East Baton Rouge Parish boys basketball title in convincing fashion Sunday night.

The Hornets (18-1) ran away with a 70-43 victory over Tara in the title-game played at Southern University’s F.G. Clark Activity Center. Scotlandville guard Ezekiel Brown was selected as the tourney’s MVP.

With the victory, Scotlandville became the first team in the 28-year history over the tourney to win it three years in a row. Tara (13-5) was seeking its first EBR title since 2001.
