Jackson had a career-high three interceptions and also scored a pair of touchdowns in Riverdale’s 28-7 victory over Grace King.

On offense, he rushed five times for 89 yards (on touchdowns) and caught one pass for 59 yards (one touchdown).

“He can make any play you ask him to make,” Riverdale coach Brett Bonnaffons said. “Any time he touches the ball, he can take it the distance.”

Riverdale will play Lusher on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Joe Yenni Stadium.

A 5-foot-7 junior, Felix had an outstanding week to help the Hawks remain undefeated (19-0). Felix had seven triple-doubles on the week (kills, assists and digs) as the Hawks defeated Ben Franklin, St. Martin’s, Assumption and Haynes Academy. She had 22 assists, 11 digs, 12 kills and three blocks in a win against Ben Franklin; 20 assists, 10 digs and eight kills in a win against St. Martin’s; 23 assists, 11 digs and 12 kills against Assumption and 12 assists, seven kills and seven digs against Haynes. At the Dutchtown tournament, Felix had 71 assists, 38 kills and nine aces in tournament play. Earlier this season, she was named to the All-South Louisiana all-tournament team.
