Jessica Lucio, St. Scholastica, Jr.

The Doves had a successful weekend competing in the Cabrini tournament, and Lucio was a big reason. The junior had 14 kills in a win against Dunham, five aces in a win against McGehee and 10 kills in a loss to St. Amant. “She is our most consistent player right now,” Doves coach Lauren Beattie said. “She’s hitting over .300 for us, she is our leader in aces, and she really helped us in the win against McGehee. Her aces really helped us in our margin of victory.”

St. Scholastica had won 23 matches in a row before losing to St. Amant on Saturday.
