Picks made for a fast track and on turf.

Race 1

4 – Maga Man – smart move to the lead then got a bit tired – more fit today for win

7 – Aw Shucks – repeat of last puts him in the winner’s circle today

Race 2

1 – Notional Star – this is his level and draws nicely for a rail skimming trip to the wire

10 – Cotton Eyed Gem – will be off the early speed from the outside ready to pounce

Race 3

2 – Claymaker – drops down to a level where he has performed well in the past

7 – Tashreeh – another one who is seeking a level to be competitive with big speed

Race 4

8 – Louisiana Voodoo – has the right running style with some speed and fits on figures

1 – Grand Fais Do Do – has had 13 chances to win so maybe this one is the lucky one

Race 5

7 – Starfish Pond – ran well in both starts and now drops down a few class levels

4 – Lookin Back at It – trainer has had some success in these type of races

Race 6

3 – Fashion Bid – very likely winner here while not facing much competition here

6 – R Queendom – ran behind the top choice so can turn the tables possible price play

Race 7

4 – Rainwalker – positive sign running above the original claim price for Amoss

1 – Tessas Treat – off awhile but trainer ok with layoff types and gets the rail run

Race 8

3 – Medal of Courage – taking a shot this one will go to front and improve position

6 – Superstar Leo – should get the perfect stalking trip from the outside

Race 9

7 – Iron Grip – should show some speed and might be able to take them to the wire

6 – Custom Ridge – trouble 2 back – now stretches out a bit for a distance try

Around the Track

Brad Cox and Joe Sharp continue their battle for trainer supremacy winning 15 and 14 races respectively heading into the final days of 2017. The jockey’s race has a clear leader with Miguel Mena leading with 23 wins over nearest – now sidelined rival – Colby Hernandez who has 18 wins along with Shaun Bridgmohan. Jockey Adam Beschizza continues to impress us with his riding ability and he has won 13 races from only 59 mounts as of December 26th.

Best Bet

Our Best Bet today will be in Race 1- # 4 Maga Man. Will improve off his first try and that should be enough to win today.

Good Luck and May they all come home safely.
