Picks made for a fast track and on turf.
1A – Miss Dreamsicle – Lke this one right back off the nice win over softer.
3 – Custom for Corales – Jockey change and the stretch out might be the ticket.
3 – Gonna Get Even – First-timer with some steady, not spectacular, workouts in morning,
6 – Just Wow – Asmussen first-time starter — always dangerous in these type races.
9 – Mr. Tickle – Not disgraced in last after tough trip takes slight drop today.
8 – Crescent Drive – Willing to give this one more shot for us to get the money.
1 – Deadly Ruler – Not crazy about layoff then a drop down, but looks the best.
3 – It’s Mike’s Turn – Didn’t fire in last at DeD but some horses don’t take to the track.
8 – Glory Train – Nice prep for this and retains Geroux as an added bonus factor.
3 – Cajies Hope – First-time starter for Sharp who is winning a bunch of races as of late
4 – Notation – Seems to have found the right level if last is any indication.
6 – Cook - The other horse coming in from Remington fits in this context.
2 – One Mean Man – Has run against some toughies and likes this turf course.
7 – Mo Tom – Pedigree doesn’t scream turf but this is a classy horse with big talent.
2- Supreme Aura – Was uber impressive first out but laid off. Comes back running though.
8 – Trappezoid – Two facile wins in first two then found trouble in last — big shot today.
2 – Princetonian — Found himself on lead on soft turf in last – back to right spot today.
6 – Rock N Sake — Nice tightener in last over dirt now back to best surface on grass
Around the Track
Brad Cox has opened up a modest lead over Joe Sharp in the trainer’s standing 20-17 with Al Stall Jr. a strong third with 14 wins. In the jockey race, the hot-riding Shaun Brigmohan has moved to within three wins of leading rider Miguel Mena who holds a 27-24 lead. Brigmohan has won with 27 percent of his mounts, which is a very high percentage.
Our Best Bet today will be in Race 9 — # 2 Princetonian. Throw last out and this one’s form looks very good stacked against today’s opponents.
Good Luck and may they all come home safely.
