On the NBA's 1,230-game schedule, the Pelicans will be involved in one of four games on the holiday, which will be on Jan. 20, 2014. The New Orleans-Memphis game is at 4 p.m. CST.

New Orleans was 27-55 last season but has a remade lineup that features new additions in point guard Jrue Holiday, shooting guard/small forward Tyreke Evans, reserve shooting guard and 3-point threat Anthony Morrow and centers Jeff Withey and Greg Steimsma.

No Pelicans game was among 15 designated on the NBA's website as the most intriguing 2013-14, however.

The two-time defending champion Miami Heat, the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks have 25 appearances slated on TNT, ESPN and ABC national telecasts. The Oklahoma City Thunder and Chicago Bulls have 24, and the Houston Rockets have 20.
